Augusto Ferreira

Born in Brazil, Chef Augusto Ferreira—also known as Chef Guto—began his culinary journey in 2008 at Ciao Restaurant, where he uncovered a deep passion for Italian cuisine. Over the years, he refined his skills in some of New York’s most well-regarded Italian kitchens, including Organika, Mambo Italiano, Galo Nero, Cara Mia, La Carbonara, A Voce, and Noi Due, a kosher restaurant, among other respected establishments.

As Executive Chef at Socarrat and Intermezzo Restaurant, Chef Guto became known for his creativity, discipline, and elegant flavor compositions. At Bucatini, he continues to elevate the Italian dining experience, blending tradition with soul in every dish he creates.
